Surviving in Nature
Once upon a time there lived a girl named Peace who lived in the jungles of Hawaii. She lived in a hut made out of leaves, bamboo, and tall stakes so the wild boars wouldn't get her food. For fun she played on the beach with her friend, Jeepers who was a tiger cub. Peace would get hungry and have Jeepers climb up banana trees while Peace looked for other tropical fruit. For breakfast she had fruit while Jeepers went hunting. Sometimes, Jeepers climbed up a nearby coconut tree got a few coconuts for lunch. Afterwards, they went to a waterfall to take a bath. Before falling asleep Peace and Jeepers layed on the roof and watched the stars all night.

Kingdoms of Cats and Dogs
Once upon a time there lived a dog kingdom and a cat kingdom. They were miles and miles away from each other. The king of the cats sent a letter to one of his friends at the same time the king of the dogs sent a letter to his Mom.
Along the way the cats messenger bumped into the dogs messenger. The dog growled and said "Are thou friend or foe of Sir Highness?"
The cat said "Who is Sir Highness?"
The growling dog howled to call all dogs. The cat ran as fast as he could, but when crossing the the river the dogs were chewing the ropes on the bridge on both sides. The cat fell and he discovered a under water cave with lots of fish. He loved it so much that he lived there peacefully.
The dogs swore that they would find cat and make him apoligize to the king of dogs
but the dogs never found the cat messenger.

My Best Friend's Story
My best friend is named Jewel and this is her story.
I met Jewel on a play ground on my brother's birthday with her best friend Coral aka Cori.
She asked me if I wanted to play with them and I said "Sure, why not?"Cori and Jewel started asking who I was, where I lived, and so on. The next day they came over and we had a water balloon fight. The day after that, I went to their house and they asked me if I wanted to play American Idol and I said "Sure". After we were done we went for a bike ride, played hide -and -go seek with walkie talkies .One day I went over to Cori's house, but they could not play for a few days. They we busy with either the after school program, hip hop lessons, piano lessons, and at sleep overs. A few days later, they came over and jumped on my trampoline and Jewel told me that she was moving back with her dad in the beginning of summer. That was the last day I saw her. I only knew Jewel for less than 2 weeks, but I consider her to be one of my best friends.

My First Horseback Riding Lesson
Me riding on Dunny
Today, I went on my first horseback riding lesson! The name of my horse is Dunny. She is brown and has a black tail. She also has a white diamond on her forehead. I am only going to have Dunny through level 1 then move on to a new horse. I have horse homework to do if I want to go to the next level . The highest level is 5+ and I hope I'll get better. I learned so many things on my first lesson.
I learned that when you get your horse from the stables you walk on the right and the horse stays on your left. I learned how to groom the horse. They don't like to be brushed lightly. Your brush their mane from bottom to top. Dunny needed some conditioner on her tail. I learned how to saddle up the horse and walk to the arena. Other riders are in the arena as well.
In the arena, I learned how to direct the horse where I wanted her to go. I learned how to make Dunny go forward, stop and to the left and right. I also learned how to get her to jog. I can't wait to see what I learn in my next lesson. I love horses.

My Second Necklace
I love to make jewelry in my free time and I can do it for hours. I just finished a blue medallion. It was made of crystal beads that I received as a Christmas gift. It is really pretty. I am planning to sell my jewelry on my own website someday. I'll even go to craft shows. I'll use the money I earn to buy nicer beads and tools.

Family Day
February 1, I went with my family to Los Angeles to go see "Phantom of the Opera". We also went to go to eat Vegan Ethiopian food. When we got inside the restaurant we were seated in little chairs that had a little seat cushion that felt like a air mattress covered in fabric. For the drinks we had mango juice which was like a smoothie and my brother had orange juice. The food came out and it was served on a big plate with buckwheat bread. After we were done we walked through an alley to get to our car and headed to Pantages Theatre.
When the play was over, I realized that it was scarier then the movie. I liked the movie better then the show. The play was a lot different than the movie. There was a lot of smoke. I thought it was going to set off the smoke alarm! I had a good time and I hope to see another show at the Pantages Theatre again.
